Janeane Garofalo: I'm Soooo Last Century!

Actress/comedian Janeane Garofalo was so baffled to find photographers greeting her arrival in Los Angeles on Wednesday, she quipped, "I'm not a celebrity. I'm a moderately successful person." The truth about cats and dogs!

With her rocker pal Henry Rollins carrying suitcases in the background, the 42-year-old lamented to paps about the good ol' days, saying, "I was more famous in 1998." Just like James Van Der Beek, Monica Lewinsky and Hanson!

Poor Janeane, reality bites!

17. ~ Can't stand Janeane ~ She's a whack-a-doo and her political views are way out of line. ~ I wouldn't watch 24 because she's in it and I most certainly will not watch her in any movie. ~ I am sad to see she has resurfaced.....

19. I like her as an actress, dislike her political views. Wish she had kept them to herself.

Whatever happened to it's not polite to discuss religion, politics and what was the 3rd one?

23. You guys are buttfaces - Janeane is awesome. I guess it's not for sure, but her and Henry would make a perfect couple (although I never would have put them together in my head) - they're both self-deprecating, cynical, funny, and modest.

24. Yes, hanson may have been famous in '98 ... but the reference was not needed. They still today are working extremely hard and are doing very well. They have their own record label and are doing what THEY want to do... making the music that THEY want to make, not listening to someone else's idea of a "Hit" single. They don't care about being FAMOUS, or number 1 on the charts (which would be great, but one step at a time) what they care about is making music for their FANS and making GOOD music. Not many other artist can say that for theirselves, so you could give them a little more credit :-)

26. You are right, Its the politics. People are getting tired of these stars spouting off to us about politics, like they are maybe intelligent!!!
I have put so many stars on my Boycott the movies list, I may not go to any movies, LOL

29. Not to be mean but I really dislike it when entertainers throw around their loony opinions and I find Janeane's opinions to be offensive. Her acting ability is just okay but her personality makes me gag when I see her. Not interested in anything she does and I hope she just fades off into the sunset along with all the other loons from Hollywood. Good bye Danny Glover, Sean Penn, Susan Serandon, Harry Belefonte, Jolie & Pitt, Rosie O'Donnel, etc!

30. Not only is SHE sooooo last centery, but so is her goofy politics! Poor thing was born too late -- she acts like it's 1968. Move On dot ORG pretty much sums it up for her: MOVE ON.
