The judge in the Phil Spector murder trial has declared a mistrial, as jurors announced they were hopelessly deadlocked.
In the courtroom today, the jury foreperson told the judge that they were deadlocked 10 - 2 -- with 10 jurors voting for a guilty verdict.
Prosecutors charged Spector with the murder of actress Lana Clarkson nearly five years ago. Spector's attorneys had argued Clarkson committed suicide.
A spokeswoman for the District Attorney told the LA Times "We will try Phil Spector again" and said her office was disappointed with the outcome of the trial
All parties will be back in court on October 3rd.

I probably would have been a not-guilty vote for 2 reasons.1. The prosecution could not show me how the gun got in her mouth without force to the outside of her mouth. 2. No blood or residue on the cuff of Spectors shirt and sleeve of his jacket. This is called reasonable doubt.Has nothing to do with past bad acts.
i am now convinced that there is something wrong with the water they are drinking that is the reason for the verdict...Lohan discared all her drugs in the water see Spears as the example of it....
UNREAL ! How do these defense attorneys live with themselves - much less sleep at night - and Michael Baden (who's wife is Linda Kinney Baden) one of the defense attorney's) who did a sneaky pete and ambused the jury and prosecutors with his 11th hour whack job theory (LA TIMES) Talk about collusion ! I hope Lana Clark haunts all of them and turns their dreams into nightmares !
The problem is the explanation of "reasonable doubt." Apparently these two jurors are willing to put these guys back on the street to re-commit. STUPID,STUPID,STUPID people
that are too irresponsible to be on a jury in the first place. May they reap the benefits of their
inability to dole out justice. WEAK!!
This guy needs to be committed to a mental institution. Anyone can tell just by looking at him that he is a sandwich short of having a loaf.

We can not blame the jurors,we are saying money talks, he is celebrety etc, etc. No!!D.A has to be very well prepair,dedectives must do perfect work ,media must cover with responsability becouse sombody died but sombody elses live is in the hands of jury. So please don't prejudise, let this sistem, the best in the world, to work. Thanks

Isn't it great that my vote caused a mistrial? Hehehe! I was even able to talk one AntiStern-type person to vote along with me! How could any of those people on the jury think that Spector was guilty? It's not like they were actually there!
Thank God for people like us, huh, Fellow Sternites? Like all of us do, I took 13 notebooks full of notes during the trial. I actually became a better expert than the supposed experts who testified. So what is 80 to 90% of the jury didn't see it my way? It was my vote, my expert opinions, that ruled at the end of the day!
No supposed "justice" for Lana Clarkson! Hah hah hah! Ain't I just great? I am so awesome.
So now I'm back, and we're going to be just as determined to see the same result for Anna and Daniel, right? Right!
