Data Does Robertson

12/11/2007 2:03 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Data got himself an upgrade -- the former android looked fully human when TMZ caught him on Robertson Blvd. yesterday.

Brent Spiner, the actor who played the USS Enterprise's robotic Lieutenant Commander on "Star Trek: The Next Generation," was spotted doing some shopping at Surly Girl, a boutique located right across from the Ivy.

Proving that Data really is a higher intellectual life form, Spiner helped a photog with his camera when the dude forgot to take off the lens cap!

Brent Spiner is still sexy! He's been one of my dream men for 16 yrs now. I've had the pleasure of meeting in and he is a gentleman and one of the nicest "celebrities".

I have admired Brent Spiner ever since I saw him in the production of "Sunday in the Park with George". Wow, he is not only a fantastic singer and actor but also an articulate and sweet guy. I'm impressed!
