It's about time Gretchen Bonaduce went out and had a good time! The soon-to-be ex wife of regular crazazy Danny Bonaduce was out at club LAX last night -- with director friend Brian Dannelly. She looked very well-rested and not at all like her former stressed-out self. What a difference a divorce makes!
The redhead had some choice words about her New Year's resolution -- saying she wants to find a nice guy who will not "shake anyone's foundation." To whom could she possibly be referring?

Gretchen is 45 years old. She has two small children, but only weighs about 90 pounds. I don't think Danny is the only one who had or has a cocaine problem. She definitely has anorexia, and with all that plastic surgery. She is starting to look like the Joker from batman. I met her in an airport once, I recognized her from her fake red hair. She was totally rude and acted like she was a movie star. Danny is well rid of her, because I'll bet she is the root of most of his problems. I have heard Danny say at least a dozen times that she would not have sex with him. That's the craziest thing about Danny. Why would anybody want to have sex with a person whose face looks like it's made out of wax

Gretchen Bonaduci is without a doubt beautiful. Of course, she stayed with the man she claimed to hate just long enough for him to pay for her nose, her breasts, her lips and her eyes and her facelift. Her hair is not red but gray. At least Danny lets you know what he is. Gretchen is always talking about what a great Christian she is, but I go to the same church she does and since she left Danny, I have never seen her there. She is the worst kind of gold digger there in this. I watched Breaking Bonaduci, and she was in a rock 'n roll band almost every night. It looked like she was having an affair with at least one member of the band. Danny may not be perfect, but I think her children would be better off with him. He tells the perfect truth about not being perfect, and she tells the perfect lies about being better than the rest of us.This is truly the way I feel. Darnel

Gee, she is more crazy than Danny, what sane person gets married on the first date! At least Danny admits he is crazy. Glad she is using her vaginmony at the plastic surgeons office to make herself marketable again!

Well, I'm never someone who will carelessly say ".....oh, just get a divorce." I think marriage should be taken much more seriously than a lot of morons out there today take it (Pam Anderson). But in this case, divorce was just the only option. I felt so sorry for Gretchen, from what I saw watching Breaking Bonaduce. And that was just a tiny portion of their life that we saw, God knows how much mental sadness he put her and the kids through over the years. It's just way too much to expect anyone person to go through. I'm very happy for her that she finally managed to get out of the marriage. I think she went WAY above and beyond what should be expected from any spouse. And the children need protection from Danny's problems too. The saddest part is seeing how much the children love him, and to think they he could possibly kill himself, literally, and take the father away from those two darling children.... how could any father do that. He is selfish and apparently cares more for himself than he does anyone else, his kids included. He doesn't have the RIGHT to put his life in danger and take away his children's father. He doesn't have the right. I used to be a fan of his, but now I just despise him. Danny, get your life together. Be a man. A real man. For your kids.

Her name was Gretchen Hilmer and despite 17 yrs of Hollywood and marital "abuses", Gretchen is exactly the same honest beautiful girl she was when we first met in '88. I think Gretchen stayed married for the simple reason she has no employable skills and Danny Bonaduce always made a good buck. Period. If she had any money or marketable skills she would have left years ago. Now that Breaking Bonaduce made millions she can leave get half the money and never have to work again---without putting up with Danny's nonsense.
The best solution for her. IMHO she never loved Danny. Just the easy lifestyle Danny provided.

Whatever Gretchen's personal reasons were for remaining married in an destructive marriage, they are not open for discussion. Let each person who has chosen to remain in a bad relationship be foolish enough to cast a stone. This is ridiculous and should not be fodder for the masses. Danny's addictions are his own, and the trials and tribulations of a person sinking into an abyss of shame is embarrassing enough without speculating on the origin of her decision to keep a family together. Like I'm sure it's her dream to be married to a drug addict and alcoholic much like it's yours. Didn't you ever make a mistake? Be Strong Gretchen.
