16-Year-Old Jamie Lynn Spears Is Pregnant

Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, has confirmed to OK! Magazine that she is pregnant. Oh. My. God.

A source tells us the interview, which hits stands tomorrow, is six pages and is on the record with Jamie Lynn and her mother. She tells the mag that the father is Casey Aldridge, who she has been dating for some time and first met at church. Brit's younger sister, star of Nick's "Zoey 101," says she's keeping the baby.

Sources tell us that she has not yet told her older sister. Well, she knows now.

UPDATE: Nickelodeon issued the following statement this afternoon: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

32. Britney doesn't know yet and she and her mom announce it to OK!??? Sounds like they are lying to scare Britney. Maybe a little wake up call, make her realize what kind of example she is setting for her sister. Just a crazy thought.

34. Well, at least brit was married when she had her babies and DIDN'T meet K-Dad in church! Is that supposed to make it better because they met at church? What the hell!!??!!

Doesn't this break some sort of law to knock a 16 year old up if her bf is over 18?

Just wondering. Looks like Brit will be paying child support to her little sister now :(

36. If I'm not mistaken, when the family first got famous, didn't they brag about being small town church going people? IF this is true, this girl is setting a bad example for kids everywhere, I mean doesn't she have a show on a kids network?? What is going on with those parents? I guess Mom and Dad were so busy being wrapped up in Britney's life that they ignored this one? This is a disgrace and I hope all the young girls out there that idolize this girl, well I hope they have better parents and make better decisions. I, for one, am tired of reading about this family. Geez even Pam did a better job raising her kids, at least she kept them from the public eye and gave them a chance to grow up semi-normal. From now on I'm ignoring Britney and family stories. Isn't someone from another family up to something interesting we can read about?? It's like a car accident, we can't help but want to look.
