Caught walking in between two cars -- and not slumped over the steering wheel of one -- a beefy George Michael left a London recording studio on Thursday.
Hopefully, his popularity with fans will grow as much as his waist.

4. Ive seen him on tour past 2 years....and he is fit as a fiddle. Glad to see him being productive....and getting ready for a US tour is 2008!

10. Hold on now. George Michael is fantastic! He is talented and one of the few who can sing. So what if he gained weight.
i bet we all put on weight since the 80's. Nice to see someone normal. Yeah, we all need to hit the gym. Even the STARS

13. He looks GREAT and has aged quite well! I can't wait for his 2008 US tour. I have loved him since I was 12. When he did his Faith tour my parents wouldn't buy me a ticket to see him and I was heart-broken! Boo! If he tours in the US I will be there for sure!

14. I know George Michael has been the butt of many a joke these past couple of years, but he is probably the best songwriter ever. Just listen to the words of "Jesus To A Child" and "Praying For Time", which were both written and sung by George Michael. More moving words were never written. "Jesus To A Child" is not a religious song. It's a love story like no other. And "Praying For Time" is so appropro to what's happening in the world today and also with the elections. Take a listen.
