OK, so they threw off a girl a few years ago over nude photos (that if I recall correctly, were intended to be private, and some jerk leaked them), but a guy who strips in gay bars and gives men lap dances gets to stay and it's all just dandy. Double standard much?

Whoa, David is old enough to work in a strip join? Does he have a hot bod? And I thought professional musicians couldn't compete on Idol... doesn't this count as a professional gig?

Contestants can compete on AI as long as they don't have a record deal. And, I highly doubt these 4 released any vinyl.

David H is Hot! No Double Standard. On a previous AI season, finalist Nikki worked as a stripper to support herself and daughter. She wasn't kicked off. Frenchie was on a porn website. Big difference. However, the Vinyl Four guy singing next to David IS on a gay porn website showing his all, front and back under "Ryan Seacrest", oops, "Ryan Steele".

Why can't Idol be what it is supposed to be--a platform for people who have never been discovered? It seems this gent was at least a semi-pro and that just seems unfair to the spirit of the rank amature giving it a go at the big time. And besides, their rules are their rules and they should be enforced equally--Frenchie was booted for racy behavior; to not give das same boot to David would be a serious show of discrimination.
