Hernandez -- New York Has Paps, Too?

David Hernandez braved New York and its paparazzi alone today, and he just about came out unscathed.

The stripperific "AI" castoff couldn't believe that we were there to greet him outside his hotel -- not the Peninsula or the St. Regis, BTW -- but he was particularly piqued when we asked about Carly "The Irish Girl" Smithson and those pesky preggers rumors.

At least he didn't confuse any members of the Hasidim for "pilgrims."

7. Please stop following this guy around. I've never even seen the show this season and already I am SICK of him and all the other Idol rejects who were sent home. Can you not find someone else to write about? This has gone way too far.

11. David was one of the best singers in the competition. Keep us updated on his travels. His fans can't get enough of him!!! I really hope he will come out with a CD next year. Can't wait!

13. Ok this guys 5 minutes is so over!! Please stop talking about him TMZ!! You cannot really seriously be sending your staff to follow this guy!! Look at the finalists from the other seasons of AI, I bet you cannot name any of them -- even last seasons. Outside of Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken, Kelly, Kerry and Chris Daughtry, all of them are back at the burger kings flippin' double whoppers -- and that includes Ruuuuuuben!
