Faux "Entourage" Creator Preys on Chicks

TMZ has learned that there's a skeevy bastard out there who's pretending to be "Entourage" creator Doug Ellin to try to get into girls' pants -- and he's apparently gotten good enough that a note went out to agents and actors last month warning them against the skeezer.

One veteran manager tells TMZ that the fake Ellin called him back in 2006 wanting to meet a specific and very hot female client of his that very night for a role for the upcoming season of the show. "The guy knew more than enough about the show, and Mark Wahlberg, and particular members of the crew to convince me," says this manager. He also knew the name of Ellin's assistant, casting peeps and future storylines.

And when the not-Doug called prospective girls, it was all good for a while -- until he started talking about girl-on-girl sex.

We're told that he'd ask starlets if they'd be comfortable sleeping with another woman on camera, then whether they'd ever done that in real life -- and other very personal questions. A source says HBO hasn't tracked the guy down yet; the network had no comment.

We also tried to reach Ellin, but had no luck.

16. 7. Good for him! Women in L.A. are out to use men to help get ahead in their acting careers, so why not let them feel used? The joke is on the bitches that fell for his act, lol!!!

Uhm, who raised you? You need to check your moral compass.
Say you need to pay your rent. Monthly. You are called to audition for work for a good show. The prosepective employee ends up not being an employee at at, but a punishable criminal fraud, and a sexual pervert,
and you cheer and laugh (lol) at this? Let me guess. You're against women being able to pay rent, eat, and buy gas.
Women in L.A. who act need to go through the hiring process like anyone else. You're twisted, dude.

17. Sounds like an upcoming storyline for Season 5 of Entourage. They can have some guy impersonating Ari Gold, trying to get girls to sign with his "agency". Just thinking- Doug Ellin might as well capitalize on some J*rk-off trying to ruin his name. Meanwhile, the real Doug Ellin is a happily married great guy!

18. Everyone who is commenting that girls who sleep with casting directors to get roles deserve to be lied to are missing the point. What about the real Doug Ellin, who has worked hard to make a reputation for NOT being that kind of sleeze? What about the legitimate actresses that are being contacted, who are not trying to sleep with someone to get ahead and who are no doubt troubled and annoyed because they think Ellin, a legitimate guy is stooping to these sleazy tactics?

19. I have to say that this dude is a totaly pervert, obviously lacking in that department otherwise why would have to lie to get some ass?? Even though i think he is the biggest skeeze ever, i find it hard to feel sorry for women who would sleep with a slime like him to further their careers, if they even have one. Hope their all adhered to the old saying " No glove No love"

20. The girls did NOT sleep with him. They never met him - read the story! The girls weren't trying to sleep with him to get a role. They were being interviewed over the phone by who they thought was the real Doug Ellin (AND whom their managers told them it was Doug Ellin before they were called to be interviewed). Don't blame the girls.... This guy is a complete PERV!!!!
