Colts Wideout Grilled About Shootout

5/3/2008 12:08 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Indianapolis Colts star wideout Marvin Harrison has been interviewed by Philly police in connection with a shooting there this week.

Philadelphia PD confirms that an investigation into the shooting, in which a man was shot in the hand near a garage owned by Harrison, is "continuing" but stressed that they have no suspect yet. Harrison's agent says that he wasn't involved in the shooting and isn't the subject of the po-po's investigation.

A Philly radio station reported earlier today that a weapon used in the incident may have belonged to Harrison.

what is it with athletes thinking they can get away with anything ?

in pro sports, defense wins championships;

as far as football, with the right defense, you can get away with murder.......

I don't think he had anything to do with it. Marvin and the rest of the Colts are great guys who do a lot here around Indy, and I really doubt he would go and do something that stupid and risk getting kicked off the team.

He's Boring now

lets see...he gets into it with the victim, he owns the gun that was used to shoot him, and than a gun was found hidden at the car wash he also owns.

uh, I think he did it. If he didnt do it, than he should know who else is using his guns and the places he also owns.

This is not the first time he has done violent acts, while in Indianapolis he injured a person and his police report came up missing - to make a long story short the person he injured got enough money from him to open up his own shop

I heard on ESPN that he owns 25 guns, 25 GUNS, why on earth would anyone need to own 25 guns, forget about the whole "right to bear arms thing" think about the practical issues involved with owning and having to account for that many guns

He may or may not be innocent.....however, according to local news reports, he got into a verbal altercation with the shooting victim at Marvin's restaurant and Harrison kicked the guy out. A few days or a day later, the guy showed up at the body shop Harrison owns, while Harrison was there. Shots were heard, a 2 year old was injured by flying glass and the victim drove himself to a local hospital and wouldn't say what had happened. The bullet has been matched to a rare gun that Harrison owns and he is cooperating with the police. It may have not been Harrison or it may have been self-defense. Time will tell.
