"SNL" star Garrett Morris, who appeared on "Saturday Night Live" from 1975-1980, has filed for divorce.
Garrett, who was perhaps best know for the character of Dominican baseball player Chico Escuela, married his wife Freda in 1996. The petition, filed today in LA County Superior Court, lists the reason for divorce as "irreconcilable differences."

(Page 1 of 2) | 1 | 2 | Most Recent | Next 15 CommentsI am very surprised to hear this. I know both Garrett and Freda and while they married in 1996, they were together for 20 years prior to that. Freda helped bring Garrett through his drug problems and other stuff and was always there for him through the madness of SNL and his career problems. Very sad to hear about this. Thanks for letting me know. I will reach out to both of them.
The Sovereignty of TMZ Whores:

Oh Shea! Thank God you are there to reach out to them. We are all so impressed and awed that you, best friend to the stars, took the time to sit around on your keester and blog on TMZ like us common people, and we all believe you, really we do. In fact, I am sitting here with Brad and Angelina, and they said they have been waiting for your call too.

Just watch, he'll show up with a young WHITE trophy wife soon, just like so many other black male stars do after they ditch the black lady who helped them get where they are today. That is if they aren't already with 'the ogre' straight away first.

Blevinz...you are just bitter. Sittin on your sorry ass blogging a bunch of nonsense. GET A JOB!!!
Quite frankly, I don't think it's fair to attack someone for saying that they know someone. I doubt they're going to pick Garrett Morris to lie about. I think that those posting the nasty comments here are just pathetic and sad and probably jealous. I just can't figure that out. And the numerous racist comments have shown exactly what this site has sunk to.
