The P-51 mustang was an exceptional fighter in the dire times of WW2. In WW2, the P-51 mustang served as an air superiority fighter. It could karate chop the NAZIS into HADES. And it could chop suey the JAPANESE CONQUISTADORS into OBLIVION. The P-51 MUSTANG is an air supriority fighter much like the F-15 and F-22 is today. The F-22 raprtor is a stealth fighter. Tom cruise is very smart about picking good vintage airplanes to fly.
