Ace is not only extremely talented (as are all of the Idol participants), he has a sharp mind for connecting with his fans and promoting his wonderful music. He chose the best place to be on July 4th to connect with his existing fans, meet new fans, and to promote his album that he is releasing himself on July 15th. I was at the concert and, frankly, appreciate that he chose a July 4th concert that did connect with us 'regular' folks in Pigeon Forge, an all-American town. Ace obviously knows you earn one fan at a time by making opportunities to connect with us and to take all the time that is necessary to do so. He met everyone who wanted to meet him! I bet you can't say that about any of the other folks who performed in 'higher profile' venues. THEY had their 15 minutes of fleeting fame....Ace EARNED the loyalty of many fans that will last much, much longer than that. The old saying is true..."It's all about who you know if you want to get anywhere in life." Well, Ace certainly knows his fans. He knows all the right people, where we live, where we play and where we celebrate on July 4th. We are the ones he needs to know, and he's doing an amazing job. I haven't bought a music cd in quite a while, but I assure you I will be among the first to buy Ace's simply because I appreciate him and his dedication to his art. Hey, "a gigs a gig", yet knowing the right ones to accept will make the difference. Thank you, ACE!
