Elizabeth is the only nice looking person on that show. The rest look like a bunch of old bats.
I never agree with Elisabeth. That said - I do think she's in an incredibly difficult position on "The View." She was brought on to diversify opinion amongst the women. The other women often gang up upon when she simply offers her opinion. She's made to feel emotional, upset, out of control, when she is often just passionate about the subject at hand. She is interrupted more often than anyone else on the show. She's not in an easy or popular position. As I said, I never agree with her, but she is an American citizen and entitled to freedom of speech in our country. I admire her convictions and tenacity. Most people in her position would've left the show. The usually wonderful moderator, Whoopi, didn't encourage dialogue or discussion today; she simply shouted Elisabeth down. I was disappointed.
Wow. Absolutely the FIRST and probably the only time I will ever agree with Elizabeth H. Sorry, Whoopi. You can't keep dragging in the past if you want everyone to look to the future. Look at the Holocaust, and I capitalize that word. I'm sorry but that atrocity trumps any other that has ever been perpetrated by human beings, including the slave trade. Jews have made sure the world will NEVER forget, remember their murdered families, live with the psychological murder that many of the survivors carry with them today and have learned to MOVE ON....... MOVE ON AND CLEAN UP YOUR SIDE OF THE STREET!
Today's show was particularly bad and not just because of Elisabeth and her ridiculous rant and fake tears!
Sherri's crassness and stupidity are as hard to take as Elisabeth. Sherri made a complete fool out of herself again with her remarks and EATING CHEESECAKE LIKE A PIIIG! Sherri Shepherd has no manners and really should be forbidden from eating anything whatsoever in front of the camera. It is utterly vile and disgusting. She sets a terrible example for any kids watching at home. Her stupidity is shameful and she is not one bit "cute" as she seems to think. What a horrible example of a black woman! Sherri has a poor character as she tells how she violated confidentiality in the law office where she worked and snoops on every boyfriend she has had or might get. She said the very first thing she did was "go through their stuff!"
Many guests on "The View" appear to hate Elisabeth too. The other day there was a man on decorating tables and HE IGNORED EVERY QUESTION ELISABETH BUTTED IN WITH IN HER RUDE, SCREECHY, RAPID SPEECH! Good for him! I couldn't believe when she interrupted by saying she liked some flowers he was using and then asked what kind they were. He just completely ignored her as if she wasn't there LOL! More should do that and then maybe Elisabitch will finally get the hint that she IS NOT LIKED NOR WANTED and will stay home with the brats she has inflicted on this world. She can then cry, rant and carry on as much as she wants to perhaps an appreciative audience.
Yeah, I'm sure WHoopi lives in the same "world" as the black people she's defending in this country. My guess is she lives where all the white people live, yet she can preach to someone that she lives in a different "world" But the same neighborhood, lol. What a hyprocite.
You do know that it was white people that invented the "n" word don't you? And you do know what was meant when the word was used? White people have no right to tell black people (in 2008) that if they can't use the word, then the word should not be used. Yes, white people cannot use the "n" word and Black people can. My only comment is the following: I love Whoopie but shes wrong when she said we (black and white)live in two different world. This is the same reasoning that white racists used to keep segregatio. Until people understand that we live in ONE world where everything effects everyone we will always have inequalities on both sides. It always comes up that it was the whites who came up with the -N- word as a derogatory word-- If thats the case why in Gods green earth would they even ingrain it into their language. The arguement that they since it referred to them they are only taking the word back and taking away its power is baloney. Words have power and by the black community keeping this word alive and in the present only allows it to be used by those who wish to do harm to blacks. We all live in one world-- There is no other world then this one--unless of course your living in your own mind. This was one of the primary ralleying crys for the civil rights movement that we live in one world and should be treated as such. If blacks dont like the word they need to stop using it in their daily speech. They need to set the example about not using racist words and not make excuses that only seperate them from the World
