It happened at pearl harbor the U.S. government wanted to get involved in the war but knew the people would never stand behind them , so they let the attack on Pearl move forward so the American public would be outraged and want to join the war effort . Now with 9/11 the samething has happened there is noway with the technology and advanced military operations that the U.S. have they didn't know 9/11 was coming , but they wanted a reason to get into Iraq and other middle east countries and drive the oil prices higher and have more control over there . The only ones suffering from high oil prices is the private sector the government is making money hand over fist off of it with thier petty taxes .

They are behind the attacks, no plane ever hit the pentagon, no plane went down in Pennsyvania, and the towers were brought down with planted explosives. The people who believe that some idiots, who couldn't speak english, learned how to fly jumbo jets in a few months, and executed the most precise, and complicated plans of attack in history, are the stupid ones. 230. Do you idiots realize how many people that would have to be involved if 9/11 was a conspiracy? Not to mention how many citizens that would have had to be killed, that were on the aircraft that made impact on the towers and the pentagon? It is simply not practical.

In today's environment of everybody trying to make an easy buck...there would be a whistle blower somewhere. Get a clue and use your energies for something that matters.

232. As far as finding Bin Laden goes, how dou you know that we don't have him already. That would fit nicely into the conspiracy theory. Also have any of you that support this line of thinking been to Afghanistan? Well i have. More than once now and let me tell you that it is not an easy place to find someone or even groups of people. Everyone needs to wake up to the fact that in that part of the world people are raised to hate Westerners period. As for this being a "police state," obviously you can get away with speaking ill about your government and anything else you want to and not face any kind of punishment. There are many places in the world where that would get you jail time if not death, see Afghanistan and Iraq under Saddam. Just thank a Soldier, Marine, Airmen, or a Sailor sometime cause those great men and women protect your right to express your thoughts any way you would like. Last time i checked those of you that have a grievence against this government are not being rounded up and thrown in jail are you? So keep writing what you like because this Soldier will always defend your right to do so, even if i think your opinions are LOONEY!!!!

how many had to be involved in the Lusitania? Pearl Harbor? Gulf of Tonkin?

234. 9-11 was America's Reichstag Fire, that's when the Nazi's burned down the parliament building and blamed it on the Jews, ushering in Hitler. Now, like then, the world was in a Depressionary economic collapse. During a time of economic collapse, the powers that be want to cull the herds. Not enough pie to feed everyone, so de-populate through genocide. Worked for Hitler, hey?
9-11 was run not so much for oil in the Middle East( filled up your car lately?) but more for shredding the US Constitution in order to pave the way for global fascism. In order to get the population to submit to fascism you have to put them under fear (hey, we want to shred the Constitution and the Bill of Rights cause Osama the boogie man might be hiding under your bed)
Anyone who thinks that some guy sitting on a yak in a cave in Afghanistan took down the security screens of the US Pentagon an hour and a half after the Twin Towers were hit, I've got some nice beachfront property in Omaha to sell you real cheap.

I cant believe that so many people have turned a blind eye to what has happened to OUR RIGHTS as US citezens, while we have been out delivering democracy to the rest of the world, whether they wanted it or not. I commented earlier about the "fear factor" used to subdue us all into a false state of panic- I wouldn't trust our "homeland security" personel to provide security for a high school prom, much less our country, and the truth is we are more vulnerable today to terrorist than we ever have been because of our precarious economy. Wake up and smell the denial!

240. Heather Thomas has been involved with fundraising and activism for years now, both in the political arena and out of it, and she has been quite successful in doing so, with a trail of accomplishments behind her, so I wouldn't be so quick to smugly write her off as a bimbette.

As for your comments on her interview appearing on Retroality, you are awfully quick to dismiss a rather lengthy discussion as "crazazy" (or did you mean to say 'crazy'?), calling her an idiot to boot, but you don't bother to come up with anything substantial as to why her comments should be dismissed. To me, this is the same kind of sensationalist "get out the blinders" reporting that is commonplace on worthless news sources such as Fox. There seem to be general messages that they (or other interested parties) want to leave the public believing, so the message just keeps getting put out there, without any real facts or evidence to back it up, being repeated over and over until the bulk of the populace takes it to be true.

Anyone who has a differing viewpoint or even begins to question those fabricated lies gets drowned out in a chorus of loud, abrasive, sloppy and downright rude comments, all in a desperate (but very calculated) attempt to shut them up, silence any opposing views, and ultimately discredit them... Whether it be Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, and now, I'm afraid, TMZ.Com ....all the same style of reporting and fabricating crap to perpetuate the destruction of our country.

Heather has done more than a little research and the things being discussed in her interview are freely available online, at many different sites. Nice attempt to make this clearly intelligent woman look like a fool, but it's definitely backfired...I think your site is best when forgotten at this point.
