Mackenzie Phillips -- I Prefer a Cell, Thank You

Bijou Phillips and her Scientoloboyfriend Danny Masterson paid a visit to Bijou's jailed half-sister last night, trying to bail her out, but Mackenzie Phillips rejected the offer.

We're told several bail bondsmen came to the pokey and discussed bail, but Mackenzie said she was broke and just wanted to stay behind bars.

All things considered, she looks really good. Unlike Keith Richards for example whose drug addiction took a toll on his body. I hope she gets help - again - but this time is able to stay clean. Good luck to her. Can anyone say Celebrity Rehab?

She's broke because she snorted or shot up all her income!
I hope she sits and sits and sits in the pokey for a long time.
Get clean, get a job, and stay out of the public eye!!

Maria, she looks good? She looks awful! She's only 48 and she looks like she's over 60. I think it's really sad, being 48 and broke after doing movies and tv. She was so cute in American Graffiti.

Actually, this may be a good sign for her. I'm guessing that this is acting as a wake up call to her (unfortunately not the first) and she realizes that if she stays in jail she cannot do drugs, while if she gets out on bail her addiction will be too strong and she'll go right out and get high. Whether or not she carries though with her attempt to get clean is up in the air, but this sounds like a good start.

How sad that drugs mean more than her life. She comes by it naturally.
Both her parents were druggies. That's Hollywood. Drugs and lots of money to buy it.
