Before she was named McCain's Vice Presidential nominee today, no one except for the seven people who live in Alaska ever heard of Gov. Sarah Palin -- or that she came in second place at the 1984 Miss Alaska pageant.
Palin did win Miss Wasilla and the coveted Miss Congeniality award. So who cares what her
economic plan is?
I was a Clinton supporter, and got screwed with the Dem. VP pick. I was inspired with Obama's speech lastnight, however I am feeling drawn to now switch and vote Republican.

Why would you list a beauty pageant as a comparison to the Presidential Campaign?? Who cares if she came in second. The fact is this woman is a VP candidate, the first Republican VP candidate. She's a woman with excellent values and she's got my vote!
Perhaps those seven people did their homework. Why would anyone use Palin's physical appearance as the main criteria and justification to summarily dismiss her economic plan? Seems a little sexist. And stupid.
