TMZ has learned Travis Barker has been burned from the waist down, but he is expected to survive the plane crash. DJ AM's face was severely burned and is being tended to right now. 
We're also told the tragedy is all the worse because one of the passengers who died, Chris Baker, Travis' assistant on "Meet the Barkers," was married recently and has a new baby.
46. What a horrible thing to happen to ANYONE! These are fellow human beings with family and freinds. The few of you that think this is funny are some of the sickest F&cks I have ever seen. 48. wow, don't you people have any respect for human life? these people were not criminals, they are fathers who are trying to creat a future for their children just as much as the next person... yeah they may have had faults, but take a look at yourselves, I bet my life you ain't so perfect yourself! yeah karma may be a bitch and now it's out to get you for your comments! 50. I've seen some ugly trash spewed on this site, but some of these comments are particularly vile.....how anyone could laugh at such a tragedy is beyond me. As a Buddhist, my religion is all about the law of cause and effect - you know, KARMA -- which a lot of TMZ posters like to refer to in their comments, and I think that the karmic repercussions for those of you who would say such hurtful and insensitive things about this tragedy will be ugly as well. Condolences to the families who lost loved ones, and best wishes for a speedy recovery to the survivors. .I feel particularly sad for the little kids who are now fatherless.

51. Sentence structure matters- What Travis has done is father 2 children and is stepfather to 1. For that one reason at least, I hope he survives! I hope he can also be, maybe somewhat of a father figure to his asst.'s newborn baby. Did not really know of DJ, but I pray they both recover fully. And god bless the families of those who died!

But what is even worse is the comments talkin sh*t or making jokes.
Everyone knows that the people talking bad are people who are poor or people who are frustrated with life. Seriously. So writing those kinds of comments on a story like this are just exposing themselves as loner or bitter people who have no other outlets with human contact and use these boards to release some stress from their miserable life.
