Celebrity Justice
Kanye Not Felonious

Kanye WestWe've learned the L.A. County D.A. has decided not to file felony charges against Kanye West and his bodyguard for the attack at LAX earlier this month.

Yet another example of what a celebrity should do when they get into trouble -- hire attorney Blair Berk. And it doesn't hurt that TMZ declined to prosecute the matter.

The case has been sent to the L.A. City Attorney for possible misdemeanor prosecution. No decision yet.

6. This is Bull, I am so sick of these thugs celebrities and getting special treatment, if the average joe did these hell, the pepper spray, tasers and put into jail and its wrong and if we keep standing for this bull we are also wrong. The average joe and joans need to stand up and put the special treatment to them and not the average joe. We need to make them pay in the same way with money and time and get the charges against them. They are going to think that they are so much better than the average joe/joans and keep doing it over and over again. Stop this madness.

8. It's too bad punk celebrities of questionable intelligence get away with assault in an airport. If Average Joe would have assaulted those photographers, he would probably get charged under the Patriot Act. The guy's a punk.

13. It seems if we collected all the arrest data on Celebs and showed the outcome of their charges (usually off the hook) we could create a whole new area of precedents that normal people like us could use. For example, you can drive reckless under DUI and have possession of illegal substance in pocket and get off free (thanks to Lilo). You can run over people and walk away and never have a charge against you even after you come back (thanks to Orlando). You can assult people and destroy their personal property and not get charged for felony (thanks to this fool). The list would go on and on and as normal people take that with you to court and ask to be dismissed just like them.
