Miss Louisiana Teen USA Stripped of Title

Lindsay EvansLindsey Evans, Miss Louisiana Teen USA, is about a pound lighter, because she just lost her crown.

We just got an advance copy of a statement that will be released from Paula Miles, President of RPM, sponsor of the LA. pageant.

"Lindsey Evans has been part of an organization that believes in opportunities when earned and consequences when warranted. Due to recent circumstances, Lindsey has been relieved of her duties as Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2008 effective immediately."

Evans was arrested this weekend after she and a group of friends allegedly tried to dine-and-dash -- all over a $46.07 bill. Problem -- the pageant queen left her purse at the scene of the crime. She went back to retrieve it, and was busted when cops found pot in the purse.

Here's the insult to injury. She only had 10 days left on her reign. But pageant officials didn't have the patience to wait.

9. I wonder how many people who are posting such nasty comments about this girl also use marijuana? I bet there are lots and lots of you hypocrites that lie through your teeth about it and then sit on your massive a$$es and criticize her for being stupid. Just like you are. I have used pot long time ago and enjoyed it UNTIL I learned how horrific it is to the nervous system and brain development, or rather stalling out the brain development, plus poisoning your liver, kidneys and heart muscles. That is when I STOPPED forever. Hopefully, this will be a wakeup call for the girl and save her life. You NEVER KNOW!

14. That she smokes pot is not a big deal. That she tried to renege on her restaurant bill is. LOTS of beauty pageant contestants use some type of illegal substances as does a substancial percentage of people on Earth. Ruth Zakarian, the 1st Miss Teen USA won because of her "wanting to help youth with drug problems". Well, I can tell you that she used drugs before and after that pageant. Later she became a party mate of the late comedian Sam Kinnison.
