I agree that pictures such as these are completely unnecessary. My stepfather just died in a car accident on Wednesday the 10th and having to see the aftermath on the news and the front page of the newspaper is GUTWRENCHING. I can understand that situations such as these may seem "newsworthy" to some, but I don't understand why people can't have more respect for victim's families.
I cannot believe some of the castigating and caustic remarks made about the family Culkin. They are a pretty good lot considering the conditions they were drug up under. Myself being white also and brought up in the gutters of Harlem.
We are supposed to offer condolences to this family, not dazzle them with brilliance from itsy bitsy minds. Especially alarming to me is bringing up Mac's youthful indiscretions. I note with great interest no one mentions Rory, whose behavioir is no comparison to Mac's. He has been a good role model and appears to me to be a very sensitive boy.
Sympathy to the folks.
I feel really bad for the couple who hit her. Even though you can't see their face.. you can just see it in the picture how this will effect them as well. I mean, I know if something like this ever happened to me, I don't think I could ever forgive myself. No one should be saying hateful things about either side.. just pray for both families.
