Joe Francis and Larry Flynt have a hard battle ahead if they plan on getting any bailout money from the government -- because based on the responses of several congressmen -- and even a senator -- who were out in D.C. yesterday, nailing down support is gonna be a lot tougher than getting drunk girls to take their tops off.

This reminds me of an CEO who once mentioned that US has become an entertainment economy, what all people do these days is only entertain themsleves, that was perhaps institutionalized and made respectable by Clinton I suppose, who provided months long public entertainment by his hand job show in the Oval office.
I think the Porn insdustry patriachs had certainly made their point by bringing the needs of porn industry at the forefront, it does make the point that these have now become things of national importance over education, health care and suchh basic human rights that enable people to be humans.
Once you become super developed country you become indistinuishable from a banana republic economy.

9. Why not? Our brilliant politicians bailed out American Express after they quickly and conveniently changed their status from credit card company to bank. They bailed out the US automakers who pay their union workers nearly double what they should. They are bailing out all kinds of companies that should be allowed to die. Whose money are they using? The small guys - taxpayers - you and me! Why not bail out the porn business? Larry Flynt and the Girls Gone Wild guy are smart enough to see how totally outrageous and idiotic our politicians' behavior has been. Let's direct our anger at the right people - those freaking imbeciles in Washington!

I hate to even pretend to know what he's thinking, but my guess is, based on his rather rich history, is he's illustrating the craziness of all the bailouts.
