He's one of the highest rated QBs in the upcoming NFL draft, yet somehow, former USC superstar Mark Sanchez kept a straight face when he said he'd be excited to play for the -- wait for it -- Detroit Lions?!
Now, Mark's a smart guy, as evidenced by his college degree and the fact he was the only USC player to answer our impromptu "current events quiz" during the Rose Bowl -- but why would anyone on the planet have any legitimate desire to play for the worst team in the history of professional sports?
Oh yeah ... money. And the fact that he only needs to win ONE game and he's a hero.

8 I got that but still TMZ has someone on that staff that posts alot about sports and stuff I see him on the show I think he would know that, Now number 9 Sean McHugh was cut by the Lions before the season started and then added to the Steelers the next day lol know he not a star or anything but still.

I stand corrected.on the superbowl players. However, i was thinking more along the lines of Greats Such as Joey Harrington, Roy William, Kevin Jones etc. LOL!! As far as Sanchez playing in Detroit,... What does TMZ Expect him to say on Camera??? Dis the prospect of being the #1 overall pick. Of course he is going to say he would love to play in Detroit. No matter what his true feelings are. And given Detroit's history in recent drafts. Maybe Crabtree is the number 1 overall this year?
