Bale Went Ballistic

3166. Some people do not realize the effort us actors put into the movie. When somebody ruins a perfectly good scene by carelessly walking through while filming it gets under your skin, especially when its the second time it happened.

Umm......you must realize this posting is from a 'regular working Joe" who, if he had gone ballistic at work, would have been fired....period....But, this is, instead, about a privileged Hollywood actor who only has an agent, a business manager, a press liason and a stylist at his disposal, bless his heart. And he feels that a simple human error committed by some other mere human being should give him the right to demand that someone be fired for stepping into his karma......Apparently, his staff forgot to tell him that his talent and fortunate gigs provided him with the power to recognize that its not just HIS talent that goes into this venture; it's a joint effort. And, if this man fails to recognize this fact, then he's not being a very good business manager of his good fortune. This would be a lightweight press release if it weren't for the people he hurt while being so selfish.

And, an added note: several years ago I was an employee of a hotel which was chosen by a motion picture company for some location shoots. One of the actors - we'll call him Gary - became quite upset one afternoon as he studied his lines for the next days scenes in his hotel room. He became quite furious and publicly and verbally offensive as he made his complaints to the hotel staff because he 'couldn't concentrate due to the crying of a baby in the room next to his". The baby, who had colic, and his mother were asked to move to another room as a result of this man's complaints. From that moment, I lost respect for anyone who was lucky enough to get a part that could actually be seen onscreen because I knew that they had lost touch with their ability to deal with what happens in the 'normal world' we all deal with each day.
