1. Northern Trust DIDN'T WANT THE MONEY
2. Northern Trust is a business, just like other businesses, they need to advertise to grow their business
3. They are the main sponsor of a PGA Tournement.... FEDEX also sponsors a Tornement,Accenture sponsors a tornement....many many other businesses sponsor these things.
4. Northern Trust didn't use tax payer money to pay for this
5. they don't need a bail out and didn't want the money
