I'm not sold on the recipient being a 'homeless bum".
A family member might own the shop he's in front of, and he might have lost his ability to walk in an industrial accident. Yes, he's wearing layers of old clothes, but he probably doesn't shop weekly at Saks, and it's cold out, so thus all the clothes. He might be a people watcher, and maybe might not like being stuck indoors.
Rourke often speaks of a friend who was generous to him when he was down and out. He just might be forwarding the favor.

Dude is a walking "plastic surgery gone bad" billboard, along with Joan Rivers, Lisa Rinna, Priscilla Presley & Octomom!! This dude used to be ok, but now he just looks down right pitiful & a pedophile at that! I give him props for helping someone out, but there is nothing remotely hot about this guy, he's f'n gross!!

I love Mickey Rourke. He's one of the most talented actors alive, and has led a fascinating life. I'm reading a biography about him now. He is a good soul. One of the reasons he lost his money in the 90s is because he is generous to a fault. He gave money to any friend or family member who needed it, even when he was running low.

Mickey has been poor, so he gave something to someone because
