He was simply trying to bleach the hair around his batcave for a movie role -- when Sacha Baron Cohen reportedly broke out in a rash so bad, he couldn't sit for days.

Several British reports claim Cohen, who was prepping to play "Bruno" in his upcoming Borat-style flick, was taken to a hospital after experiencing what sources are saying was a "burning sensation that spread."

Those who have ever hit Taco Bell at 3 in the morning know the feeling...

9. This guy is an obnoxious ass - he reminds me of a high school bully who gets his kicks from picking on defenseless people. I've never found the Borat character to be funny - just mean. This new Bruno character sounds like the same thing. I say an anal rash is a good payback for his behaviour. Obviously having a child has not humbles this jerk-off at all. He's a terrible role modle for his little girl.

11. Um... Hey TMZ writers... anal bleaching isn't about bleaching the hair around your bunghole. It's bleaching the skin around your sphincter so it turns pink like a bunny nose. Normally butthole is kinda brown. Just sayin.

15. Well I have heard of this procedure and find it part amusing and part anal (as in in the brain of things to do). Couldn't they simply have used some white makeup, rolls eyes, I'm pretty sure they could have. Anything for a story and some free pre-publicity on an upcoming movie
