What Michael Vick did had nothing to do with race, he is just POS! Sorry, but anyone who intentally harms animals for their own sick and twisted pleasure has NO business being allowed back in the NFL! There are plenty of talented athletes out there who haven't abused animals, let THEM play! I highly doubt Michael Vick is remorseful for what he did, just sorry he got caught! If he thought what he did was ok then, I find it hard to believe he would change his tune now.

19. Wow, just skimming over the comments I have no idea how PETA, race or guns have anything whatsoever to do with this but....

I don't believe he has served enough time and I don't believe that he only "bankrolled" dog fighting. I think he is personally responsible for the pain, suffering and cruel deaths of many dogs and I also believe that he is responsible for taking peoples' beloved pets from them. He should pay for that for the rest of his life as far as I am concerned.

29. I truly hope everyone is flooding Roger Goodell's mailbox protesting the possibility of Vick returning to professional football. I know he has paid for his crimes from a legal standpoint, but for him to do this in the first place shows what kind of a man he really is. I certainly don't want my children idolizing someone like that.

30. Michael Vick is going to have supporters and non-supporters alike. I think it's amusing that his being released from jail on dog fighting charges became a racial debate on here. And really it's not even a debate, just people expressing their opinions. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

As far as a football career, I would surely hope there will be some serious thought by the NFL before decisions are made.
Here's to hoping his conscious may never let him be in peace!
