Warren Sapp: Click to watch
Last night outside Villa, Sapp said Vick has paid "more than enough" for bankrolling a dogfighting ring, and calls his release "A beautiful thing."

32. I have just read a statement from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell released a few hours ago stating reinstatement talks would not begin until Vick's sentance is completed 2 months from now. That the NFL would even consider letting him play again is so wrong in so many ways.

33. 29. Granted I am an animal lover and Vick should have been punished for what he did, but what is funny is how all these white people, peta lovers were so up in arms, yet no one protested when Dany Heatley, (hockey player) killed a fellow player when he crashed his car after a night of drinking. He served no jail time and I don't recall anyone protesting this, and he is still in the league. Hmmm I wonder why? Oh yeah, Vick's a Negro,

Don't know about -" Dany Heatley, (hockey player) killed a fellow player when he crashed his car after a night of drinking. He served no jail time and I don't recall anyone protesting this, and he is still in the league."

How would we know about it if the media doesn't cover it????

I have never even heard of this!

So your "ass"uming is wrong...

Why do you assume everyone up in arms against Vick are white? How could you possibly know the race of each and every individual blogger unless they volunteer that information? As for Dany Heatley, did he electrocute the guy the guy too? Did he try drowning him in a vat of water? Did he hang him? How about strap him in a rape chair? Did he deliberately set out to crash his car and kill anyone? No. No he didn't. Don't get me wrong, just because Heatley didn't actually intend to kill his passenger doesn't excuse what he did. Notwithstanding, it does make the difference between what he did and what Vick did. Intent is the difference, not race.

37. You black people playing the race card is so vulgar. He is a skidmark first last and always. If he was white I'd say the same thing. Get over the "poor me" black thing. My Grandma, my grandma's grandma and her grandma had nothing to do with slavery. Quit pouting and move on with life for crying out loud. Life is tough, so wear a helmet. Anyone who tortures animals has the same tendency to do it to humans. HELLO REMEMBER JEFFERY DAUMER???? Again, GET OVER IT!!!!!! Whites were persacuted too in history for their religion. We just don't whine about it and rise above it.. Perhaps you should do the same instead of feeling sorry for yourselves.--geez.

38. Omg. The stupid is really strong in this post. This has nothing to do with race. He is a vicious person with no sense of morality whatsoever.

As far as the hockey thing. Never heard about that. Its still not the same, though. He didn't vicious and purposefully inflict torture and death on his team mate over a period of time. What Vick did is depraved and it doesn't even compare.

41. Sapp probably have attended a few dog fights in his lifetime. Dog fights are more common than people think.

42. Wow, I'm glad that Hillary Clinton's comments only cement what an idiot she is. Why do people always read an article, then comment that we shouldn't care what the article said because people are dying the world, etc.? Can you not read or care about more than one thing? See, I can think Michael Vick is a dog killer AND know about families who bought houses that were more than they could afford on their salary. It's called having an IQ in the triple digits.

BTW, I can't believe the fallacious statement from Warren Sapp that Vick has paid his debt for "bankrolling dog fighting." Um, killing dogs in a cruel manner is NOT just bankrolling. Please don't insult us by dumbing down his crime.

43. HE is the reason why so many think Pitts are evil.
For that alone i lothe you ...

Additionally, you killed, for sport, for fun, for "blood lines"
you deserve everything you did to those dogs in ten fold.

45. Not only has Vick paid more than his dept. The fact that he went to prison for something so dumb is a crime. I can't understand how people can stand up and HATE someone for dogfighting, yet won't get off their a** and make a differnece in this world, by valuing peopple above all else. animals are here for food and service companionship is a luxiary. There is no such thing as a pet. The cost of people caring for animals even leaving money to them could probably do away with hunger altogether.
