Just ask Taylor Hicks, Fantasia Barrino and Ruben Studdard ... who were all eventually dropped from their labels.

TMZ, get your freakin' facts straight. Hicks wanted to get out of his Idol label contract so he could have freedom of choice to his songs. No doubt it was the same for Ruben and Fantasia. Adam and Danny are lucky to not have won that cursed title!

Of course Harvey is going to make this "controversial" since the gay guy lost his ass. You should be used to losing by now Harvey. Obama, Joe and Hillary ALL oppose gay marriage. The entire state of California voted AGAINST gay marriage, so please, explain how this is even an issue? I don't seem to recall your site during any previous seaons making this claim. But oh right, there wasn't an openly gay constentant either.

Unlike the Idol winners who failed, none of them could read music, play instruments or arrange their own music. Kris is not just a singer he is a MUSICIAN - Fantasia ad Ruben WERE NOT. He will be able to do rock, country, contemporary the other Idol finalists were NEAR as versatile as Kris can be.

Not for one second should we consider that a lot of people might have voted for the underdog. Or hey, let's really go out on a limb and suggest that maybe (gasp!), more people simply thought Chris was a little better.

Barrino won because there was absolutely no one else worth voting for that year. Worst season ever! Ruben has a beautiful voice but his type of music isn't really "in" these days. That is exactly what would have happened to Adam, I think. It probably still will. His career will never take off unless he gets in with some music professionals who inform him that glam has been dead for twenty years. As well it should be, it sucks.

Yes, America voted for Kris because he isn't Gay.
They didn't vote for Adam because he's gay.

I don't know if you can argue that Kris is more talented - Adam seemed more original and talented to me, but one could certainly say Kris's music appealed to more people. The show isn't actually about who is the best singer - it's about voting for the singer whose album you'd want to buy...

Kris was the better 'rounded' musician with talent. He has a pleasant voice and can play guitar and keys. Adam has a fantastic head voice to get those crazy highs, but that gets old fast. I can see Kris as an artist or producer, and Adam doing broadway shows or something like that.
Fantastic Burrito, Reuben and Taylor - I don't get how they actually won those years.

Adam Lambert was ROBBED of the title, But will probably follow suit becoming the BIGGER STAR coming in 2nd place..... Kris was Great BUT I felt Adam deserved it MORE... He is MULTI-TALENTED Rock on Adam... I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if QUEEN didn't ask Adam to be their lead singer and tour with them!!!... Love you Adam.. Congratulations Kris... xoxo Jamie
