In the shocking finale last night, Kris Allen beat out Adam Glambert for "American Idol" -- and according to Randy Jackson, "America gets it right every time, dawg."
Just ask Taylor Hicks, Fantasia Barrino and Ruben Studdard ... who were all eventually dropped from their labels.

2. TMZ, get your freakin' facts straight. Hicks wanted to get out of his Idol label contract so he could have freedom of choice to his songs. No doubt it was the same for Ruben and Fantasia. Adam and Danny are lucky to not have won that cursed title!

4. Of course Harvey is going to make this "controversial" since the gay guy lost his ass. You should be used to losing by now Harvey. Obama, Joe and Hillary ALL oppose gay marriage. The entire state of California voted AGAINST gay marriage, so please, explain how this is even an issue? I don't seem to recall your site during any previous seaons making this claim. But oh right, there wasn't an openly gay constentant either.
JUST ANOTHER VOTE AGAINST THE GAY LIFESTYLE. Get over it Harvey and move on. It's time for you to accept reality.

5. Unlike the Idol winners who failed, none of them could read music, play instruments or arrange their own music. Kris is not just a singer he is a MUSICIAN - Fantasia ad Ruben WERE NOT. He will be able to do rock, country, contemporary the other Idol finalists were NEAR as versatile as Kris can be.

Not for one second should we consider that a lot of people might have voted for the underdog. Or hey, let's really go out on a limb and suggest that maybe (gasp!), more people simply thought Chris was a little better.

I only come to tmz.com to comment on the relevant. Everything they publish is trash and scum. Somebody needs to follow the douche bag harvey for 40 years; from sun up to sun down, Maybe only then will he deduce that he is a scum peeping tom bowing to the lowest form of humanity. Seeing TMX attack Farrah in a private moment further codifies my analysis that TMZ caters to the lowest common denominator in society. I apologize in advance to containers filled with vinegar and water as you have a more purposeful meaning in life over the creator of TMZ.

11. Barrino won because there was absolutely no one else worth voting for that year. Worst season ever! Ruben has a beautiful voice but his type of music isn't really "in" these days. That is exactly what would have happened to Adam, I think. It probably still will. His career will never take off unless he gets in with some music professionals who inform him that glam has been dead for twenty years. As well it should be, it sucks.

They didn't vote for Adam because he's gay.

14. I don't know if you can argue that Kris is more talented - Adam seemed more original and talented to me, but one could certainly say Kris's music appealed to more people. The show isn't actually about who is the best singer - it's about voting for the singer whose album you'd want to buy...
