2. everytime i hear "respect their privacy", its usually during a divorce, death, or something very personal that someone is forced to leak. With chas, she could've waited telling the public til it was done.

Other wise, like ive said before, whatever floats her boat. Hope she knows the risks & the facts before doing it.....don't want to see her do something she will regret.

8. It is sad when someone is unabke to live with the gender that God originally gave them. I have a feeling Sionny Bono would literally roll over in his grave if he knew Chastity was going to do this. I read articles of his long ago, where he was not too happy because she was gay.he axxepted it, though. I do not believe in discrimination agsint gay people. however, I am sorry but I think someone has to be really screwed up emotionally to want to change their gender. what can you say? Mary Bono cant very well say she detests what chastity is doing, and offend "politically correct people.' (of which i am sick) this is sad, But it is chastity's choice. No matter how screwed up this choice may be.

9. Someone has to be very emotionally screwed up to change their gender, It is sad when a perosn cannot live with the gender that God gave them. I have a feeling that Sonny Bono would literally roll over in his grave if he knew what chastity was doing. i have read old articles of his.. Though he accepted Chastity being gay, he apparently was not happy with the fact. I guess all Mary Bono can do is accept this. either that or alienate chastity. i wonder how thrilled Cher is with this. Cher once said that when she first found out chastity was gay, she almost flipped. She is probably not thrilled with this at all.

10. It is one thing to be gay. it is quite another thing to alter the sexual body parts that God gave you, in order to become a different sex. I certainly dont hate chastity for doing this. However, i agree. Someone who changes their gender through surgery to become a differnt gender has to have some drastic emotional problems.

12. Wow! That was really touching that Rep. Mary Bono would come out to support Chastity (don't ever name a girl this) or Chaz for it's, essentially, Sonny Bono speaking from the far beyond in support of his daughter.

13. I understand the way Chaz feels, but I don't agree with going public. Her parents are public celebrities and she needs to keep this private. Her body is her body and what she chooses is her business. Cher is probably hiding under her bed and Sonny is rolling over in his grave. Who cares what the Stepmother thinks? She has nothing to do with this.
I absolutely do NOT agree to have plastic surgery that is not necessary. You can actually die from that.

15. Actualy kenny your wrong, Sonny had no problem with her being gay. Liberal Cher on the other hand did. Thats a fact Cher said so her self. Most republicans could care less what some one does as long as it does not result in more taxes or bigger goverment. The reason gay marriage was banned in Califronia was not becasue of evil republicans but because of liberal democrats. The Obama campaign got huge numbers of hispanics and blacks out to vote. Hispanics are strong catholics and the church says no to gay marriage. Also there is a very big stigma againts gay men in the black comunity. The next election with no issue to bring these two minority groups out the ban will probably be reversed.
