So it happened. Jon & Kate Gosselin announced their separation on tonight's show. Nothing will EVER be the same.
Jon is moving out and so on and so forth.

2. While divorce is never a fun thing for anyone involved, this is the best possible outcome for these two people. I will no longer be tuning into their "show;" not because of the divorce, but because of what they've become.
I am not a fan of Kate Gosselin; she has emasculated her husband for years, and with her "I'm the center of the universe" attitude, she's shown the world what type of person she truly is...one that is selfish, cold, and far from the mother she portrays herself to be in her two books. I'm sure that Jon has his own faults, but to be honest, if my husband spoke to me the way Kate has spoken to him on NATIONAL television, I would have left a long time ago.
I hope they both do whats best for their children and find a therapist ASAP!!!!!

3. They filed for divorce, that's as real as it gets. It's a shame they ever opened their and their children's lives up to TLC and the public. Parents should protect the little ones.

4. she was such a bitch about it!!!!!!! If they were TRULY thinking about their kids, they would figure out a way to save their marriage, grow up, learn to be kind to each other.

8. Jon needs to get over his midlife crisis. He is going to regret his behavior when he finally realizes that he is an overweight, balding middle aged father of 8. Kate may be tough but she had to be. Jon is a wimp and has never been able to hold down a job to support his family. Kate got the show and the money and his male ego couldn't handle it. Hope he enjoys his young teacher girlfriend who will dump him once the money runs out.

14. I FEEL SORRY FOR THE KIDS. AT LEAST THEY ARE NOT EXPOSED TO FIGHTING ( PARENTS) ANYMORE.
ITS ALL JONS FAULT.. HE IS A CHEATER THAT WANTS FREEDOM AWAY FROM NOT ONLY THE WIFE BY THE CHILDREN.

MY SON MENTIONED SOMETHING TODAY THAT REALLY MADE ME THINK THAT KIDS ARE REALLY AFFECTED BY THIS KIND OF STUFF....MY SON AND I WATCH JOHN AND KATE PLUS 8 ALL THE TIME...WHEN HE HEARD THEY WERE GETTING SEPARATED HE TURNS TO ME AND SAYS INSTEAD OF GIVING UP IF THEY LOVE THE KIDS SO MUCH WHY DON'T THEY TRY COUNCELLING?? THAT BLEW ME AWAY....HE SAYS THEY BOTH SAY THEY LOVE THE KIDS SO MUCH SO WHY NOT TRY TO MAKE IT WORK ...?? WOW!!! WELL I WILL NOT BE TUNING IN ANYMORE.....
