Felt Jackson Dead at Scene

6/26/2009 1:45 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson Dead at the sceneWhen EMTs arrived at Michael Jackson's home yesterday, the medics wanted to pronounce him dead on the scene -- but Michael's personal doctor refused to let them "call it" -- this according to sources close to the situation.

When EMTs arrived there was evidence someone had been performing CPR on Michael for "quite some time." There was evidence of Lidocaine -- an old-school drug that can be used to treat disturbances in the heart's rhythm. Medics took over performing CPR but determined Jackson was lifeless -- and wanted to call the coroner to pick up the body.

We're told Jackson was flat-lined when EMTs arrived.

But our sources say M.J.'s doc demanded EMTs continue performing CPR anyway, and demanded that they take Michael to the hospital.

Once they arrived at UCLA, we're told Jackson's doc continued to personally administer CPR -- even though it was clear Jackson was already gone.

I absolutely believe this to be true. It makes sense that the personal doctor was doing CPR- he's probably the one who gve him the fatal drugs. I would expect the doc would have tried epi before lidoacine. It is common in cardica arrest patients.
The chance of survival from asystole (flat line) is very minimal, so I am surprised they worked him at all, after so long. And especially at the hospital. The ER docs know better, even if MJs doc insisted they do it. And if they really did work on him for an hour just becasue MJs doc wanted it then shame on them.

There might have been people who needed them who could have been saved. The time and resources that should not have been used when Michael was already dead.

And the more TMZ finds, the more pissed off I get. Smacks of 2 people noting Heaths unusual breathing and calling other celebs before 911. That doctor gave him something, he crashed and said doctor was trying save his OWN arse not MJ's. "had been performing cpr for some time" along with the previous got a shot and started breathing slower and slower makes me want to puke. I wonder it doc did try narcan if he jabbed him with lidocane?

PSA celeb groupies when someone is not responding and is having labored breathing CALL 911 you dipsticks

Simply Crazy Crazy

Seems pretty cut & dry... a doctor that over-prescribed and overdosed medication and fought, not only to save Michael Jackson’s life, but to save his own ass as well. I've got to believe, had he immediately called paramedics, Mr. Jackson's life could have been saved.

Licensed celebrity drug pushers... Dr. George Nichopoulos (Presley), Dr. Khristine Eroshevich (Anna Nicole Smith) and this hack, were all fame whores who should be held accountable for their roles in the deaths of their most famous clients. If this douche bag cared about his patient and his patient's loved ones, he wouldn't be hiding out like the criminal he is.

Also, it's a shame that these artists egos, coupled with the immense influence they have on their "subjects", keep them from getting much needed help in treating their addictions and re-claiming their health & their lives.

Simply put... another tragic end, to a life that meant so much, to so many.

Rest in peace Michael. Fly away, far, far away, from this troubled world!!!!

May God bless you & yours.....

In a blog that he has since removed, at the moment when Michael was dying, Perez Hilton accused him of FAKING his heart attack. Although he has since removed the offensive post, The Inquisitr has posted it for all the world to see that Hilton MOCKED A DYING MAN with his trademark childish scribbles.

Yet another reason to support the BOYCOTT TO BANKRUPT!!!

Email each of Hilton's advertisers and DEMAND that they remaove all ads form his site and cease all future business activity with him. And CALL HBO TODAY at 3:00PM EST. The time is significant because it is 15:00 hours and represents the end of Hilton's 15 minutes of fame,

BOMBARD HBO's Consumer Affairs Department switchboard -- 212-512-1208 -- at 3PM TODAY, FRIDAY, JUNE 26th. Tell them you will not watch any of their programs, or purchase any products advertised on their programs, so long as they advertise on the site of a man who wrongly accuses someone of a crime solely because of his race, and who blatantly, intentionally and with malice slurs an entire group on the basis of their sexual orientation.

Paramedics can not pronounce a patient dead at the scene. This can only be done by a liscensed physician who is generally in the emergency room base station and only after carefully assessing the information provided by the paramedics along with interpreting the readings of a 12 leed ekg. In Michael's case, after doing their assessment, the medics in all probability recognized that Michael was dead at the scene. After contacting ucla medical centers base station, the ucla er attending physician also made that determination that he was dead in the field but was overridden by Michaels personal md who was present at the scene. DR Murray in my non professional opinion was trying to cover his rear end, he knew he was in trouble and wanted to have the appearance that Michael was still alive if barely while at his home. This won't fly. Something very wrong happend in that house with DR Murray present, it's my educated guess that at some point he was asleep or pre occupied and not attending to Michael properly, especially after administering the powerful annestetic Propofal which is used to sedate patients in a surgical setting.
