Michael's Memorial in Pictures

My siblings and I attended The Jackson Five in concert in Houston -- our first. We were so proud to have our seats in the center of the 12th row from the stage. An amazing show!
God bless you, dear Michael, may you take your rest now in God's loving arms and peace and blessings to your family and all who were close to you...we will never see another like you.

Michael Jackson was, without a doubt, an amazing entertainer with unbelievable talent but also a very troubled/tortued soul. Did he or didn't he do those things he was accused of? Will we ever know the truth because now all the books, interview and b.s. that's going to come out is all for the mighty $$. The memorial was well done but I have one question - "what the hell was Mariah Carey doing there?" She was pathetic (nevermind the outfit) and her style (?) belongs at the MTV music awards and not at a sombre occasion like that. And today she's come out with the statement that she was sorry for her performance because she was too broken up - puleeeese! You couldn't sing the day before the service and you just proved that your a publicity seeking, no talent hoochie!

Can someone tell me why they had a Congresswoman there? Did she even know MJ? Damage control perhaps to cover Sen King's unbelievably ignorant and disrespectful remarks. Everyone is entititled to their personal opinion but geez, there's a time and a place you idiot! And to start talking about Washington getting involved in doing this or that, don't those folks have other more important things to be dealing with?

I grew up with MJ and love his music and he will be remembered for years to come. He broke down barriers, did a lot for charities and children, made a definite mark on the world and whether or nor he was guilty of those terrible things he was accused of (more than once??) it doesn't really matter now..........

My hope is that he can finally have some peace and that his children grow up happy and healthy. If they find any of the doctors they are investigating responsible for his early passing, they should all be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and make an example of them because we all know this will happen again and again and again.

It's not just Cory. Where were all these people who gave speeches when he needed people most? They cry now that he is dead, but they were nowhere to be found when his heart was heavy. That includes his own brothers and sisters. Remember Lotoya selling him out??? They need to hang on to the children for the money.

re:85 No he is not in his crown of jewels. That happens on judgement day. He may have been charitable, but if his behavior turned a child from God, he will have judgement upon him. We all are not without sin, none of us. We will all stand before God and Jesus judgement day. Amen

I was born in December, Micheal Jackson in August, so i grew up listening to his incredible music all my life.I wish Micheal could have outlived me, but that was not to be.The Lord said" Suffer little children to come unto me", We all know that Micheal had an incredible innocense about him. He will suffer no more. For those of you out there who think that Micheal would ever hurt a child, be very careful how you judge someone, for you yourself will be judged the same. Micheal, you were and still are an inspiration to all who not only knew you, but who also felt your love through your music. I will love you forever and cherish your magic through the music you left behind. God Bless your children, may they live a long and healthy life. Mariah was so awesome at Michael Jackson's funeral. So was Usher. They showed genuine sadness in their performances. They liked Michael, you could tell.
