Miley Cyrus made some sweet money doing the voice of Penny in the movie 'Bolt' -- but she came this close to making a whole lot more.
We got our hands on Miley's contract -- filed with the court -- which says she was paid $10,000 a day for the voice-over work.
But here's the rub, if the movie had grossed $125 million domestically, Miley would have pulled in an extra $175,000 ... and then another huge pile of cash for every $25 million above that.
The final domestic gross: $114 million. Ouch.

$144 Mil is pretty good for film standards and $10,000 just for a voice over work for the day is amazing. TMZ, quit bashing her.
The movie paied 55 y/o Travolta with 16 y/o Cyrus, kind of a mis match in casting. Should have had a younger actor as Bolt's voice, such as Zac Efron or Seth Rogan.
Who cares about the greedy bitch? $10,000 a day? No, no, no.
When she fixes that unfortunate nose of hers, do you think it will be in small "unoticable" steps or one big surgery? And what will she do first, the nose or the teeth?
She can't sing. She talks like a 50 year old smoker. Her smile reminds me of a chimpanzee and is dating a guy who should be arrested for dating this kid. All she has is money. Why is it that the no-talents make all the money?
Yeah...hindsight is 20/20.
The fact remains that Miley might have the singing/dancing career down but her acting is still greatly suspect. You don't need to be that great an actor for the Hannah Montana show as it caters kids. Miley is just paying her dues.
In a couple years, with a few more films under her belt, that $10K per day will turn into millions per project.
Shia went from $500K for Transformers to $5 mil for Transformers 2.
