The video, obtained by US Magazine, shows exactly what went down when a pyrotechnic mishap ended in Michael's scalp being scorched.
After the accident, Jackson became addicted to painkillers.
OMG!! That is horrific!! His enitre head looks like it's on fire! No wonder he didn't have any hair! Why has this been covered up for so long? To keep up the image of hair for the fans?? Good Lord the man could've used a little empathy through out the years!
that was the beginning of his end.........
:(
i know people who've been injured at work also....and become addicted to painkillers. its too much.
R.I.P. MJ.
Perez is so f'd up! why would he do this?: http://www.931theparty.com/cc-common/gallery/display.html?album_id=948 Not good.
Hair is flammable with or without oil. Don't believe it? Hold a Bic to your freshly shampooed locks and then come back and report (wait until it dries, though).
It was just a case of spontaneous human combustion. Sometimes people just burst into flames. Of course soaking your Fro in napalm doesnt exactly help things.
I had a bag of chips that I decided to get rid of, by throwing on a fire...What an explosion that created...Those fireworks should never have been anywhere near a gelled head...
34. His scalp is blacker than his face. Hmm.
Also, it couldn't have been that painful, he didn't even know he was burning and kept dancing until people tackled him.

Are you kidding me? It had to burn through his hair first, then get to his skin to trigger his nerves to then let him know that he was burning and that it was painful.
I'm sorry, but I don't remember when third degree burns didn't "hurt that much".

Huh?? Are you suggesting that Michael Jackson was the receiver of jokes and put-downs? Have you been on the same planet as the rest of us for the past twenty years, Karen?! Michael Jackson's entire life had become a joke to the media and especially sites like TMZ. His entire personal life was put under a microscope and mocked.
Wow... Just, wow...
horrible!! so painful! to know that this mishap has caused a lifetime of pain and anguish is tragic.
Horrible!! MJ suffered the pain for 25 years long.........finally he can RIP. God bless you, MJ.
can TMZ post anything else besides MJ stuff?? Is this going to be like this forever? they should cange their name to "all about MJ." Is there anything else out there to entertain us??

Huh?? Are you suggesting that Michael Jackson was NOT the receiver of jokes and put-downs? Have you been on the same planet as the rest of us for the past twenty years, Karen?! Michael Jackson's entire life had become a joke to the media and especially sites like TMZ. His entire personal life was put under a microscope and mocked.
Wow... Just, wow...
I hope that was sarcasm on your part.
That freak accident moment marked the beginning of his downfall. After that he became addicted to plastic surgery and drugs.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
