7. He's just being positive about the situation. Such as he could have possibly been at home when it happened and maybe hurt or shot at by the robbers just to steal his possessions. Also I guess you people aren't aware of the cost of luxury watches which can cost 10k for one watch maybe more. Guys wear jewelery also.
