Posh Spice -- The Wench Doth Not Tip

9/9/2009 5:39 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Posh Spice She came to watch the knights do battle -- but it was Posh Spice who delivered the death blow ... stiffing her waiter during a recent trip to Medieval Times.

Sources employed by the M.T. "kingdom" tell TMZ that Posh brought her children -- and a couple of bodyguards -- to enjoy a feast and a medieval show at the Buena Park, CA location this past Saturday night.

But before the jousting and the sword fighting came to a close, Posh and her crew left the show early -- and multiple sources tell us she didn't leave a tip for the server who took care of the group.

And now for the "Bad Medieval-Themed Closing Line of the Day" -- Looks like getting a tip from Posh is harder than pulling a sword from a stone!

Attempts to reach Posh's rep were unsuccessful.

I agree. When I went to Italy this past summer, the waiter was surprised when we tipped him. Tipping is usual an American custom, so maybe she wasn't aware.

Wow, maybe Dina Lohan is right. Maybe she is not the worst Mom ever. I think you might be.

You raised your daughter to have two bastard kids huh? That sounds like a failure in parenting if you ask me. Are there two "baby daddies"? Maybe you should have taught her not to slut around and get pregnant (twice) before she could provide a stable home for her children and not have to work as a "wench" at a tourist trap in Buena Park for the past decade. Lemme guess, teen pregnancy???

Did she get her sense of tip entitlement from you? You should do society a favor and steer clear of your grandkids or you might screw them up like you did your daughter and they may end up working at Midieval times for a decade with two bastards of their own.

As an employee of THIS castle. I will first say, that Gratuity is not involved inside the castle. The fee to get in does not involve the wench's or serfs that cater your meal. NO ONE GETS A TIP, unless you have a party and you choose too. I know the server that did served her, and for the fact of, we get celebrities all the time. Tito Ortiz, Jenna Jameson, Vince Vaughn it doesnt matter. Having a celebrity is not new, we bend over backwards for what they want but we do not treat them as royalty....(unless they purchase it... :D )

Does everyone really think she paid to see the show anyway? MT was probably so happy to have a celebrity at their show that it was probably comped. Anyway MT now has an admission price of $25.00. She should have tipped. What a classless bitch. I bet non of the peasants that paid to get in could enjoy the show because she was probably being fussed over. Anyway didn't she come from the "real Midevil Times?"

52. Regarding Posh Spice:

That was my daughter who was her server - a single mom with 2 babies, who works very hard to support them, while going to school. My daughter has worked there for 10 years, and no, the tip is not included in the price and never has been - thats why they announce it during the show, to be sure and tip your server. You should be ashamed, Posh.

Oh spare us, Colleen. Your daughter made her choice to have two children. I am fed up with waiters/waitresses begging for "tips". I raised two children on $8.00 - $11.00 Receptionist positions. I did alot of work that the Secretary or Paralegal in law offices refused to do because they felt that certain clerical tasks were beneath them. I did not complain that those tasks were tedious and unprestigious because I was grateful for my pay check twice per month. My children always had food on the cupboard shelves because I maintained a careful budget. Of course, I didn't buy stupid plastic toys for them nor manicures/pedicures for myself. STOP BEING A BUNCH OF DAMN BEGGARS!

Your daughter has low ethics. I hope she is reprimanded for leaking this story to TMZ.

What in the world does any of that have to do with the issue at hand, which is the fact that a celebrity with far more money than the average American neglected to leave a tip for someone who works hard for the money she earns?
Medieval Times (let me just do you a favor and correct your spelling for you, though if you'd taken a gander at the article above, you could have fixed it for yourself) is a place of entertainment as well as being a food serving establishment. It is spelled out for the guest, on quite a few separate occasions, that the gratuity is not included, has not been included in their ticket price, and is greatly appreciated considering the hard work that the servers are performing.

That being said,
Colleen:
I feel a great deal of empathy towards your daughter in this situation. I've worked for a number of years at the local Medieval Times as a food server so I could support myself as I finish college and grad school, and have had the pleasure of serving some wonderful celebrities. I've also had the pleasure of serving celebrities who are demanding, standoffish, and cheap. It's a win some/lose some situation when you're waitressing, as I'm sure she already knows, but let her know that there are other servers out there who know how it goes, and who feel for her. Hopefully, she'll receive the gratuity that I know she worked incredibly hard for.

If you guys are going to rip on someone about not tipping, you probably need to actually research what you are talking about. First off, I eat at Medieval Times at least twice a year and the tip is included in the cost. Now you can tip extra, but if you get bad service it doesnt matter how much you make, you dont tip extra.
Second, they do not give away any beer. You only get one refill on soft drinks or tea also. You have to buy ALL of your alcoholic drinks.
This is why I hate watching your show, but for some strange reason my wife likes it and I surf the web while she is watching it. After I heard your ignorite employee spout off about this story, I had to comment on it.
Get your facts right and then maybe, just maybe you will be a half-way respectible show. Until then you will always be a half @$$, make shift, POS show and any high school graduate can do a better job of putting a show together.

Whether you "feel" it should have been included or not in your $60, bill you still need to tip. The fact is it isn't included. If you order 2 large pizzas at home it's $60, and you tip your driver. If you do that why the he ll would you not tip your waitress who served you hand and foot for the duration of the meal.

Shows zero class, regardless of raising.

To Carl #64... THE TIP IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF ADMISSION! LOOK AT THE WEBSITE AND STOP SPOUTING OFF ABOUT THINGS THAT YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF! LOUD AND WRONG!

My two cents

Dear "MOM" (Colleen):

I find it completely inappropriate that your daughter leaked the story and I agree that she should be terminated for it..not for embarrassing Ms. Beckham but for embarrassing her place of employment. I also find it inappropriate that you placed your fat ass here declaring to the world your daughter's business and her struggles. How embarrassing for her now but tit for tat. Embarrass Ms. Beckham and MT but now your daughter. How pathetic. I can see why you daughter leaked the story. She has a mother who has no class either. Kids learn what they live.

You are TACKY and certainly are much more low rent than Ms. Beckham not leaving a tip. She could have merely forgotten to do so.

The fact that so many Medievil Times workers, friends and parents of workers have come on here to complain about tips makes me never want to go there again. So you didnt get tipped, boo hoo. I wonder how many other people that were there that day decided not to tip. But you prob could care less about them because they aren't some rich celeb you could score big off of.

The fact that the worker or people from Medievil Times made it public that she didn't tip shows a blatant lack of respect for the customer and makes me feel she was right for not tipping such a disprectful place. Total lack of professionalism.

And Colleen, get out of here with your sob stories about your daughter. Many girls work and have kids while going to school, i dont feel anymore sorry for your daughter. She put herself in the position to have 2 kids when she clearly wasn't ready or could afford it. Thats her fault. Maybe your daughter gave crappy service which is why there was no tip.

I can't stand it when people complain about getting a small tip or no tip as if they are entitled to it. A tip is given depending on how good the customer feels the service is. So if someone doesnt tip 20%, it's not just because they are cheap, it's because they felt the service was not worthy of a 20% tip. Many times ive been annoyed with slow service, getting orders wrong, etc and my tip reflects those mistakes. I'm sure when i leave the waitress is mother f'ing me behind my back and calling me cheap but the reality is the service sucked and they didnt do their job right.

It makes me sick how much entitlement people feel they have these days.

Oh and after reading the responses from the Medievil Times workers/parent of workers/friends of workers as well as seeing the lack of privacy they have for customers, i will never attend Medievil Times ever again.

Carl, i agree with you about the TMZ people on tv. Too many times they spout off their opinions as fact when they are 100% wrong. They say things about topics as if they know what they're talking about and they are dead wrong on most of them. When i was at Medievil Times beer was not free and i only got 1 free refill on my soda. So that goon with the chin goatee was dead wrong when he said they keep refilling you free beer.

What kind of stupid place would keep refilling you free beer??? You know how much money they would lose on alcohol sales that way? Not to mention getting people all tanked up without having to pay would be a cause for disaster after the show or even during the show.

The long haired blonde and fat guy with the chin goat are the 2 worst on the show with getting information wrong and making it sound like they know what they're talking about and making it seem like everything they say is fact. And the stupid blonde guy is annoying how he tries to give his opinion on everything, even the tone in which he reports a story gives away how he feels about the person.

And i laugh everytime these people act like they dont know the person they're reporting on. Um those people are celebs, you people are nobodies that stalk celebs.

You don't tip at Medieval Times, morons. Anyone who has been there knows that. And you should certainly know that if you work there.
Everything is included in the ticket.
I can't believe that TMZ actually wasted their time on this. And I can't believe that there are so many people on here crying about it.

Ridiculous.
