Annie Leibovitz Portfolio Safe -- For Now

Annie Leibovitz Famed photog Annie Leibovitz has managed to stave off losing her entire legendary portfolio -- but there's still the pesky matter of the $24 million she owes.

Leibovitz got so deep into financial debt, she took out the loan last year and put up her homes -- and her entire photo library -- as collateral.

Art Capital Group has agreed to withdraw its lawsuit against Leibovitz for failing to pay back her loan on time. They've agreed to restructure their agreement and push back the due date -- which was last Tuesday.

1.
I still don't get how people get into this much debt, unless it's drugs and/or gambling.

2. They probably realized there wasn't a whole lot they could do with her photo portfolio, considering they'd have to get permission from anyone IN those photos first if they ever wanted to use any of them.

4. She has several homes in New York. Her country home is worth far more than what she owes to Art Capital Group. If she owns the country home outright, she should be able to liquidate it and pay off the loan. We have details on those properties at CelebrityDigsHQ.com.

7. Annie got permission for use of the images when she shot them. The permission travels with the pictures to whomever buys them. What they probably didn't want to do was to have to sell them and maybe get less than what she owed, or, maybe, someone she knows with strings got involved and convinced the bank to back off.

9. Wait!! Isn't that a close up of Huge Hefner going to that baby shower. Annie and him could be one and the same. I'm just sayin'.

10. Woody Allen? He looks good.

No, but seriously, though........ Annie's an idiot who has nobody but herself to blame for getting herself in debt. She was trying to keep up with the Joneses and _stupidly_ put up her art (proof she's a phony sell-out) for collat. You made your bed, Lezzie, now LIE in it!

11. How do you get into that kind of debt? - But seriously, she is a marvelous artist, I admire her work. I hope she can work something out and keep her photos. She lost her significant other, maybe she hasn't been up to bringing home the money in the recent years.

15. Maybe if she kept her tongue in her mouth, her fingers to herself and her strap-ons in a drawer and then......become what God intended her to be........A WOMAN....then maybe, just maybe, she'll get her act together. I'm so throuh with AI. I know I can't take week after week of that lesbo Ellen.
