Aretha's weight isn't the turnoff ... it's her ridiculous sense of fashion. Why does she always dress in silly-looking, unflattering getups? Miss F needs a good stylist.

I love AF and she is the Queen of Soul...but the High Priestess will always be Nina Simone!

The equation for weight loss is:

Too many calories in, minus little calories out = weight gain!

Our bodies were made to M O V E. So just move, even if it's just a little, to burn those calories.

Give me the days when the music industry was more about how well you could sing versus how hot you looked.

Aretha was, and still is the Queen of Soul. I wish her good health and happiness.

Aretha is amazing. I LOVE her wonderful, powerful voice. She is a living legend.

Oh dear Aretha. Looking a little dowdy. There's some far nicer fashions for women with full figures that's for sure. Could care less about her weight, such a remarkable voice, but do worry about the health aspect of it all.

Great singer ... but it's too bad she hasn't taken card of herself.

She is the most OVER RATED singer of ALL TIME.

She needs to get to know a good bra

or "care" either. heeheehee

I hope she continues to lose weight and get healthier so she'll be around belting them out to us for another decade or two. And in the meanwhile, TMZ can take a rest from highlighting stuff like her corns, or her "girls" or whatever they think is funny.
