Rourke offered up a ton of reasons to our guy in New York yesterday for why he has no problem saying the word f**got -- even going as far as playing the "I have more gay friends than any 50 straight people I know" card.
On Friday, we asked if Mickey was homophobic -- 60% said yes. How 'bout now?

What is the difference between Sean Penn and Mickey? Mickey is honest about what he thinks and feels, and Penn hides it and even collects awards playing gay characters that he despises.

I don't believe he is homophobic. There are nothing but Homosexuals who either Own studios, are directors, stylists, hair dressers........so if he were homophobic he became successful in a homosexual environment.

Mickey must be a kind person and have a good heart. The way he cared for his pets and carried that little dog around with him shows he has a warm soul.I don't believe that Mickey would hurt a fly much less anyones feelings.
