Avril Lavigne Files for Divorce

Avril Lavigne has filed for divorce from Deryck Whibley.

She cites "irreconcilable differences."

According to the docs, Avril says they separated on Sept. 4th and were married 3 years and 1 month.

Avril is not asking for spousal support -- probably because she's the breadwinner -- and she also checked the box in the docs saying she doesn't want to have to pay Deryck any money.

irreconcilable differences in Hollywood mean that the couple has no interest in working out their differences, they don't take their vows seriously, and want to separate to find greener pastures until the next schmuck comes along and the same thing happens again and again again. Look at Liz Taylor.

Is there anybody in the entertainment/music world that has been married for over 10 yrs.?? over 20 yrs.??
