Englund vs. Haley: Who'd You Rather?!

I agree with Fred Kills Hits. WHY IS HOLLYWOOD REMAKING THE CLASSICS!!!!!! The original can never be outdone, this was Johnny Depps first movie. The special effects for the time period were great, and it beats CGI blood and gore anyday. Remake the bad movies, someone needs to remake The Ice Cream Man, or Hard Rock Zombies. I'm not knocking J E H, he's from my hometown, and he's also a great actor. Loved him in Little Children and The Watchmen. But him as Freddy Krueger, I think not. There is only one Freddy and that's Mr. Englund. He's had so many great lines in all the N O E S flicks, no one can deliver a line like; "Welcom to primetime B*@$H!" other than Robert Englund. But will watch the remake just to slam it to everyone on how horrible it will be.

Jackie, no doubt! But u really shouldn't ask me, I'm not objective since I think he's hotness of an epic magnitude. Curious to see the new take on Freddy... :)

Hey SianP, you really ought to leave your Mother out of this discussion. Probably hit every damn branch on the way down of the ugly tree. That comment is the perfect example of why we need a government implemented breeding program for humans. Hurm.

I love them both. Robert is a better actor than you would know from NOES. I wish he would get offered a wider variety of roles. Jackie is just wonderful in every way. A great actor and a lovely human being. I look forward to his take on the role. And I think the makeup looks fantastic.
