With no fans, smiles or any support mechanism in sight, the Philadelphia Phillies returned from losing the World Series to the New York Yankees last night and moped silently as a team back into their New York hotel.
This may be the saddest thing you'll see all day.

12. Really...who gives a rats ass if the yankmees won. If you throw all the money in the world to BUY the best team...you should win. What in the hell are they celebrating? What was the BIG accomplishment? Baseball is not a competitive sport anymore. I have hated it for years now.

15. Yankees will probably win a good many more world series with the payroll they have. I just believe that their should be a cap on what a ball player makes. There is no way that the other teams can spend that kind of money that the yankees have. No matter that the record shows that the Yankees are the winner, I still believe that the Phillies are the real champions and are the true winners when you look at the money that the yankees spent. SO KEEP GOING PHILLIES, BY THE WAY I'M NOT A PHILLIES FAN.
