Oprah just made her big announcement live on her show -- revealing the "real" reason she's walking away after 25 years.
She started strong, then began to cry, then regained her composure -- and in between shameless promotion for her next season, Oprah told her audience that pulling the plug, "feels right."
"I love this show ... this show has been my life and I love it enough to know when it's time to say goodbye. 25 years feels right in my bones and my spirit. It's the perfect number, the exact right time."
And then there was this moment:
"For some of you, long time Oprah viewers, you have literally grown up with me ... we've grown together ... you had your family and you raised your children and you left a spot for me in your morning or afternoon -- depending on when the Oprah show airs in your town."

Oprah is great. God forbid someone like Oprah try to actually do something positive for the world, unlike most of the sorry sacks on these message boards who malign her.
basically...there is a glut of female hosted talk shows....there will not be one person filling her shoes, however the juggernaut known as ellen is in a prime position to expand ...her show has followers, her dog food gives to charity, and she constantly gives her studio and viewing audiences prizes...she works clean, and has a positive attitude...it won't be the end of oprah...she will be the female tyler perry and like howard stern...in the future, you will have to pay to see oprah...it's just business

Hey, I read the article on media bias by Charles Thomson that was recommended, WRT Michael Jackson etc - it's really a biased article, LOL! There is no substantiation of any his statements, no evidence of what he reports is indeed fact, just a bunch of heresay. But get this, ALL of the comments posted by readers of his blog are positive - not one questioning his statements or making negative comments about the article. I posted one questioning the article and it got removed, LOLOLOL! Then I tried again just asking why one was not allowed to question things and it won't let me post now. Talk about biased and one sided.
Oprah is leaving in 2011 cause she knows, like the other rich illuminaties in her level, that the world will be endingin in 2012 . She will need 1 year to get ready to go into a spaceship to leave this earth while we will going through extermination.

I am puzzled how a never married, never had children, lesbian can have authority on wisdom and advise on family and spiritual matters. She does have a rabid following.
