CBS Rejects Ad from Gay Dating Website

1/30/2010 8:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

CBS has rejected a Super Bowl commercial from a gay dating website called ManCrunch.com, saying it doesn't meet their "broadcast standards."

In a statement, the network said, "After reviewing the ad -- which is entirely commercial in nature -- our Standards and Practices department decided not to accept this particular spot." They added that it "is not within the Network's Broadcast Standards for Super Bowl Sunday."

The decision is in contrast to their choice to accept an ad from a pro-life organization featuring college football star Tim Tebow.

For that person that said being gay is not normal due to the "procreation" issue, let me tell you, get some info on the facts before you decide to place a post. First of all, not all humanity is gay, but on all living animals, including humans, there is 10% that are born gay, GENETICALLY, I doubt a horse decided one day to be gay...so, it is part of nature and if that is so, who can dictate what part of nature is or is not normal?
For example, how many times a week do you have sex? What would be the "normal" ratio according to your "bible of all normal and abnormal things"? Are you having too much or too little? LOL
FYI I'm a straight 48 years old woman, married, two kids to whom I taught the real values and principals of life, which included to respect and honor all things (including diferent people/believes/ideals)
Thank you for reading!

Half the stuff I see on CBS is Gay anyway, Why shut them down? At least it's not as bad as the ABC show the Bachelor. Those guys need to go to Dateawhore.com instead of ABC!

There are a lot of conservative people in this country who have the money. If they are uncomfortable with gay and lesbian relationships then they can pull the plug. Who are they to judge anyways but he who has the gold makes the rules. I found a good online dating site at http://www.matchmade.com that serves all kinds
