Drew Brees' Home -- A Shrine to a Saint

Ya think they like Drew Brees in New Orleans?

0921-media-removed-michael-jackson2
Saints fans have been rolling over to Drew's place in droves -- leaving signs, trinkets and flowers for the Super Bowl MVP.

No word on what they're leaving on the front doorstep at Peyton Manning's house ...

So, what exactly gonna happen to New Orleans with the Saints winning? Absolutely nothing! The coaches and players might get more money. But what does the city actually get...some bragging rights? It was fixed all season. It was set up for the Saints to win. Everyone still feels sorry for them since Katrina. The refs was on their side. Peyton and the Colts didn't lose the game. Peyton gave the game to the Saints. He was told to do that. The Saints aren't really champions. They are just a charity case.

I'm surprised someone else didn't help themselves to the six pack of Abita beer sitting on the ground.

The people of Louisiana care, and so does much of the gulf coast. It has been a great moral booster. We also LOVE Peyton Manning and for that matter the entire Manning family. They are part of our New Orleans Saints family. For the record we were not the only ones who cared.A record 106.5 million Americans watched the New Orleans Saints beat the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday's Super Bowl game, setting a new high for any U.S. television broadcast, early ratings showed on Monday. The National Football League championship, broadcast on CBS, beat the record held by the 1983 finale of the "M*A*S*H" comedy series, which had 106 million viewers, so says CBS and Nielsen Media said.

@#2--Who cares,
First off, I think the world of Peyton Manning. I also like the Saints. None of them are my home team, but atleast one of ours were inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.
Now to my point, you seem to think that the Sanits won the game out of pity, that "everyone still feels sorry for them since Katrina". Do you realize that those people are still living in trailers? That their once beautiful homes they had are completly gone?
You'd better hope like hell you are not affected by a natural disaster and loose people you love or what you've worked your whole life for. Wouldn't it be awful for you if everyone turned their backs on you?

Whether you like the team or not, the Saints whooped Manning & Co.'s ass after that 10 point lead. Also, the fans in LA love that team more than we'll understand.

Right now, I'd imagine Manning is seeing Colts fans either crying outside his house or shouting wildly over the money they lost when betting on them to win.

Why does he make enough money, for throwing a ball around, to live in a house like that - when our military, police and fire fighters don't make that kind of money?

He throws a piece of dead animal skin filled with air to fast guys who majored in "communications" in college Big F****** deal. If the people in New Orleans spent as much time following the lives of the worthless politicians they picked to run the city as they do these almighty football players, New Orleans might not be the crime invested hell hole it is today. We is broke, we is killing each other, we is on welfare, we is dropping out of school, we is demanding billions for levies so we can live below sea-level, we is losing great jazz clubs and adding strip clubs and we is ALWAYS blaming other for our problems. But we is Super Bowl champs. Oh yeah, that will turn the city around.
