Lil Wayne had a perfectly good reason for missing his court date in Arizona today -- he's currently behind bars in New York. But Yuma County didn't care ... and issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
Wayne pled not guilty in the past to a litany of drug charges related to a January 2008 arrest, where DEA agents found 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy pills and a 40-caliber pistol on his tour bus.
Wayne had a court date today, but missed it cause of the whole "already in jail" thing.

I live in Yuma AZ and they dont put up with Bull $h#t here. the only thing that will happen is when he is relesed in NY they will send him to Yuma. Duh

If you want to be a rap artist, there are a few things you need on your resume.
1- Being ugly helps.
2- Sell drugs as a youngster to pay off your recording studio.
3- Either have done time in a correctional facility, or are planning on doing time soon.
4- Being black is not a must, but it helps.
5- Bling, bling, bling.
6- Posse for backing you up when you can't fight a must.
7- Must be able to rhyme and make up words and steal,(dupe), from other artists and bands.
It's that simple. Now for all of you parents who are sending your kids to school to become law abiding citizens of this great country, stop. Let your kids sell crack, and maybe one day they too can become a famous rap artist.

It's a formality from Arizona telling New York that when the loser is done there, hold on to him and Arizona will come and get him.

If Lil Weenie manages to live through Rikers, which I doubt, he gets a free plane ride to AZ.
Prior posters are correct, AZ hands out jail time like parking tickets for offenses like his. He's looking at 25-30 years minimum.
Of course by then his booty will be all stretched out from NY guys passing him around for candy bars.
