The actor who plays the British Lieutenant in "Inglourious Basterds" allegedly broke his ex-girlfriend's nose after a night of heavy boozing ... and now she wants protection from a judge, and stat.
Michael Fassbender's ex -- Sunawin Andrews -- filed a petition for a restraining order against him earlier this month in L.A. County Superior Court.
In the documents, Andrews claims Michael hit the bottle hard during a film festival in July of 2009 -- and after he woke up in a puddle of his own urine, he became violent and "threw me over a chair breaking my nose."
Andrews also says Michael allegedly dragged her alongside their car one night after they had an argument about one of her ex-boyfriends ... causing her to twist her left ankle, blow out her left knee cap and burst an ovarian cyst.
Andrews says she fears for her life and wants to keep Michael 100 yards away from herself and her two children -- and wants over $20,000 to help her pay her medical bills from the injuries he allegedly caused.
Repeated attempts to reach Michael's agent were unsuccessful.

Had to be the Ischia Film festival then. Cannes was in May. Also pics of her on wireimage on July 14, 2009 with Michael, and her nose looks fine. Clear shots on wireimage where she is getting make up on and still, it does not look like her nose has been broken. Further, as someone said, why would she have her children around someone so violent? Where are the children's father(s)? Sounds like the money is not for medical bills to me....

If she's so fearful of her life and that of her children then why doesn't she press charges and take him to court and try to get him convicted. Why ask for money? No amount of money will make you safe. If it were me, I'd press charges imediatly and never ask for a dime from a man who abused me. This happened in July 2009, it's March 2010, now your afraid. I don't know. Could very well be true and could very well not be true. I wonder if she has any proof, I mean she's asking for that money for medical bills so maybe she has paper work and then again maybe she don't. Another he says she says. Hmm.
The alleged incident happened more than 9 months ago. Why wait so long to ask for a PO? She stayed with him after the alleged incident & claims in another incident he dragged her alongside a car. If these incidents truly happened she is an idiot for staying with him, worse is that she has 2 kids witnessing these alleged acts. If so, she needs these children taken away.
Get the TRO but also a security guard because the paper wont keep you safe if a guy's determined to hurt you. Going public is actually a good tactic, if she so much as trips over a sidewalk crack people will be looking to see if he was there pushing her so, good for you girl - you also may save another gal from the same or worse.
