The people who care most about Lindsay Lohan believe she desperately needs to get help, but she refuses to listen. A professional who is extremely close to Lindsay confided in TMZ, "If she doesn't get help soon, she's going to die."
People who have been trying to help Lindsay over the last year -- both professionally and personally -- feel something terrible will happen unless she immediately gets help for substance abuse. We are not talking about Michael or Dina Lohan. These are people who have quietly been trying to convince Lindsay to go to rehab again.
Lindsay, we're told, is making excuses for her erratic behavior and refusing to acknowledge her problem. After falling Wednesday night when leaving a party, Lindsay Tweeted, "Only I would get pushed into a large, sharp plant by crazy paparazzi!!! I need to start wearing more flats:/"

I can't be nice here; this little bitch deserves what she gets. She's arrogant, she's annoyingly attention demanding, she's delusional, she's a drunk, she's a drug addict, she's a thief and a liar. She's about as reprehensible a human being as it gets; she doesn't give 2 rips about anyone but herself. She's exactly the wrong person to be an idol for kids; unfortunately, she demands idol status & has "fans" (ie - idiots who can't tell the difference between right & wrong). As far as I'm concerned, if she dies, she did so on purpose. If she can't be bothered to conduct herself as a normal human being, then she needs to hit the road...
Lindsay will be fine.

If anything, her antics are keeping her in the spotlight for sure.
She seems bound and determined to throw everything away, so I say let her. Just remember Lohan, you're not Marilyn Monroe no matter how much you think you are and no one is going to remember you like that if you succeed!
Actually I had to just now ask my husband WHY she is even so popular. I can't remember her as being anything but a drunk and drug addict. Even he had to Wikipedia her. All I can say for you people who think she will suddenly wake up and come out shining like a new penny....NO SHE WON'T!!!! Quit enabling her with your words. She's a loser and has obviously hit bottom. She looks like absolute hell. Having been an addict in the past myself, I KNOW how one looks at themselves when they are active in an addiction. She looks in the mirror and sees perfection. She doesn't see what all of the rest of us see. Drug addiction is not just a passing phase like puberty. It's a lifelong fight to stay clean and unless you arm yourself with new friends and good geography, you are set up for failure. You can send a person to rehab all you want, pay the thousands upon thousands of dollars these high dollar rehab places ask for and in the end you don't get crap unless the addict is willing to make the change. It doesn't matter if you get fresh bagels and cream cheese for breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice or a bowl of instant oatmeal and a cup of instant coffee. What is all boils down to is it's up to her...PERIOD! Right now she's a loser and until she gets help that's what she will remain.
To commenter number 6... If you are a "former addict" (no such thing, try 'recovering addict' then you know that everyone's bottom is different.
I also find it amazing coming from a recovering addict that you are claiming she can't come back from this. It is NEVER too late until someone is DEAD, and this girl isn't.
Lindsay, baby... Sweetie-pie... Some of us out there still love you, and some of us are actually saddened by and care about you getting the help you so desperately NEED.
PLEASE be a Drew Barrymore and not a Marilyn Monroe. Drew was one of the hardest partying starlets on the scene and her mother was just as bad, if not worse than yours, and she still managed to get her act together and come back. There is no glamor in killing yourself with drugs, and it's not a one-way ticket to legend-hood. You have to want it for yourself, though. No amount of begging, pleading, threats, manipulation or force will have any effect on addiction.
You can only do it for you, because you get sick and tired of being sick and tired. I only pray you hit bottom without killing yourself in the process.

I think Hollywood & Parents should take the blame for most of this. The kid stars are having drugs being pushed on them at age 8 in the industry. How about everyone finally taking responsibility for this. I also think everyone who needs to know the horrible things or is fueled by bad pics or anything like that that is a fan should be subject to the same abuse. There are too many young stars dieing from this and they all have 1 thing in common in the beginning all the parents cared about is the money they were never supervised correctly and this is the direct result of that.Yes she needs help and an intervention done on her and to go to rehab in a lock down facility. That is the only way she will be helped then she needs to not associate with anyone that does any kind of drug including alcohol because that is a drug believe it or not too.
